We believe in being an active part of the world around us. As a result, we have found ourselves participating in the following organizations.
Relay for Life--Dani's Dancers. Formed out of grief for the passing of Rhonda's cousin Danette Shannon due to misdiagnosed breast cancer at the age of 40, this team has raised well over $10,000 a year for the last 3 years. In 2008 Dani's Dancers raised over $21,000. Our goals are higher for 2009. Cancer continues to impact our family with Rhonda's Dad being a 9 year survivor and her Aunt Rhonda continues her battle with cancer. Mark's brother Larry is a long-time cancer survivor.
Tyler and Logan were both preemies. Tyler was born at 24 weeks gestation, weighing 1 lb. 5 1/4 oz. Logan was born 8 1/2 months later at 31 weeks gestation, weighing 2 lbs. 10 oz. What miracles they are. Now active teenagers, Tyler is involved in Special Olympics through his school district. Diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2, he has received support from several organizations. If you have questions about Autism, Rhonda would be happy to talk to you about it and explain some of the things that helped us learn more about his unique world.
For several years we have sponsored a young girl in Ecudor through Compassion International. If you've ever felt drawn to support children in this way, we've been very happy with this organization.
We are excited to be partnering with American Vintage RV and other great travel trailer fans in offering a special enthusiasts' kit. Click HERE for more information.
Vroomers! LLC also supports local school fundraisers through product donations and fundraiser opportunities. Most recently we donated items for the Lakeland High School (Huron Valley Schools) Athletic Department Golf Scramble.
